Thin Tinplate (also known as tinplate) is a cold-rolled steel sheet coated with a very thin layer of metallic

tin on both sides. It combines the hardness and strength of steel with the weldability, corrosion resistance

and bright appearance of tin. The tin plate has the advantages of odorless, non-toxic, light weight, and

easy to process. Printing different patterns can also beautify the product, so it has been widely used in the

food canning industry, electronic devices, chemical paints and other industries.

Thin Tinplate is composed of five parts, from the inside to the outside, a steel substrate, a tin-iron alloy

layer, a tin layer, an oxide film and an oil film.The production process of tinplate mainly includes

electroplating tin, reflow, cathodic passivation and oiling treatment. In the electroplating tin process, a

layer of metallic tin is deposited on the cold-rolled plate, and a reflow process forms a thin layer of tin-

iron alloy between the cold-rolled substrate and the pure tin layer, and the cathode passivation treatment

and the oil coating process respectively form a blunt Film and oil film.
