PPGI Coating Type PE,SMP,HDP ,PVDF

At present, the types of coatings used for PPGI Steel Coil are polyester coating (PE), calcium silicate coating (SMP), high weathering coating (HDP), fluorocarbon coating (PVDF) and so on.

General Polyester (PE)
PE coating has good adhesion to the material, the colour coated sheet has been processed and shaped, cheap and many products, the choice of colour and gloss of the room to play. In the general environment under direct exposure, its anti-erosion life can be up to 7-8 years, but in the industrial environment or heavily polluted areas, its service life is relatively reduced.

Silicone modified polyester (SMP)

Silicone-modified polyester coatings offer better durability for steel panels, with an erosion protection life of up to 10-12 years. However, their adhesion to the material and moulding properties are not ideal, so they are not suitable for use in applications where multiple moulding is required, and are mostly used for roofs and facades.

High durable polyester (HDP, High durable polyster)
High durable polyester coating can reach 60-80% of PVDF coating, and is better than ordinary calcium silicate polyester coating, its outdoor weatherability reaches 15 years.

PVDF Fluorocarbon
PVDF Fluorocarbon coating has very good corrosion resistance and colour retention, in the construction industry colour coated steel coating. It belongs to the highest level products, and its mechanical properties, UV resistance and heat resistance are also outstanding. In general, its corrosion resistance can be up to 20-25 years.
