The production of galvanized slit coil involves several steps:

Galvanization:

The galvanized coils are then fed into a slitting machine where they are cut into narrower strips. The edges of these strips are referred to as "slit edges," which are typically smooth and free from sharp burrs, enhancing safety and handling during installation.

The slitted coils undergo inspection to ensure they meet industry standards, such as ASTMA653 and JIS G3302, which dictate the quality and specifications for galvanized steel products.
