Details of SGCC Material Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Coil
A hot-dip galvanized steel coil is immersed in a molten zinc bath to adhere a zinc-plated steel sheet to the surface. It is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the coiled steel plate is continuously immersed in a zinc-plated plating tank to form a galvanized steel sheet; and the alloyed galvanized steel sheet is used. This steel sheet is also produced by hot dip, but immediately after it is discharged, it is heated to about 500 ° C to form an alloy coating of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good adhesion and weldability of the coating.
Hot-dip galvanized sheet is hot-dip galvanized steel coil, cold-galvanized sheet is cold-rolled galvanized sheet. From the material point of view, the composition of the two galvanized sheets are basically similar. The difference is that cold-galvanized sheet is better than hot-dip galvanized sheet. Thinner, better surface quality, more complicated process. The price is higher.
From the technical point of view, the steel is hot rolled and rolled from the slab, and rolled into a certain thickness of the plate, such as a thickness of about 10mm, if the user does not have higher requirements on the surface, thickness and mechanical strength of the plate, the finished product can be processed. Such as galvanizing, directly sold, is the hot plate. If there is a higher requirement for the board, then the hot rolled sheet is sent to the cold rolling line for re-processing, pickling, annealing, re-rolling, etc. Get cold rolled sheet with thinner surface, smooth surface and better mechanical properties
